Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Improves Healing After Surgery

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has been shown to have tremendous impacts on post-surgical healing. Research shows that performing HBOT prior to surgery improves surgical outcomes as well.

Clinically, we see patients experiencing substantial improvements in healing time and quality of healing. When HBOT is performed prior to surgery, it significantly reduces inflammation and swelling while improving circulation and oxygenation of tissues, providing faster healing with less pain.

HBOT has also been shown to reduce infection, which is a major concern during any surgical intervention, therefore adding to the effectiveness of surgery when HBOT is used as an adjunctive therapy.
